Waaree Energies Limited, a leading solar PV module manufacturer and project developer has secured the tender floated by Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) to commission 540kWp of solar photovoltaic power plant. This order is part of SMC�s �Solar City� programme under which it has a target of reducing conventional energy demand by 10% through RE & EE measures. Waaree has assured to execute this project within the tight deadline of 45 days while ensuring high quality of workmanship.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Hitesh Doshi Chairman and Managing Director Waaree Group said� Under this project we will install 12 solar photovoltaic power plant at different locations. Some of these are primary schools, some are hospitals, STP�s, Multi-purpose halls and Multi-level parking. These installations will have a direct impact on the life of the common man, which makes this project very special. This project will display the true potential of a distributed solar power system by empowering local communities and raising the standard of living.�
